B & B Plumbing highly recommends Tankless Water Heaters.  The benefits include:

25% of every American household energy dollar is spent producing domestic hot water.  Nationwide more residential energy is consumed by domestic hot water than on anything but heating, and air conditioning.

Electricity is the WORST way to heat hot water while natural gas and propane gas are much more efficient, smarter choices.  Based on national fuel price averages of $1.46/ccf and $0.09/kwh, the cost/100,000 BTU's is $1.46 for natural gas and $2.64 for electricity. Just under 60% of North American households have access to natural gas, and if you don't, propane gas is available to almost everyone and is still a better value than electricity. In addition electric water heaters have only a small fraction of the capacity of gas water heaters. So if you like expensive, short showers, with cold water at the end, use electric; otherwise gas would be a better choice.

Modern gas fired tankless water heaters are the best alternative available to today's homeowners to reduce their residential energy consumption.  A typical gas fired tankless water heater costs about 2-1/2 times as much as a standard tank water heater. However it will pay for itself in just a few years or less, and will last twice as long as a tank.

Dripping Faucet?
This is usually because sediments are built up in the aerator. Try taking the old aerator off and replacing it with a new one. They only cost a couple of dollars. If this didn't do the trick... you may need new washers and seats, or a new faucet altogether. If its a single handle shower faucet.. you would need a new stem or cartridge. If you have a two or three handle shower - bath faucet... you may need new valve stems, seats and washers.

Water Pressure too
high or too low?

Go buy a water pressure gauge, screw it into your spigot (after the water pressure regulator) and check. If it reads below 50 lbs p.s.i. or above 70 lbs p.s.i., give us a call. If over 80 lbs p.s.i.... it would be very dangerous and would need to change the water pressure regulator immediately! as your pipes could blow out and flood your home causing major damage. A safe pressure is around 65 lbs p.s.i. In fact... it is advisable that if your pressure is below 50 or above 70 the water pressure regulator should be changed just to be safe.

Toilet Clogged?
If your plunger didn't do the trick, try using a toilet Auger. That's what we would use. Sometimes the auger wont do the trick. If not... call us and we'll come out and pull your toilet.

Water heater maintenance
At least once every other year, turn water off to water heater, turn off the water valve then drain. This will remove the sediment and increase the efficiency and life of you water heater.
